Tony L. Armstrong

Tony L. Armstrong

Tony Armstrong was born in 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas, where he was active in theater since high school.  He studied theatre arts at the University of Texas at Arlington and then relocated to Kentucky in 1986.

Since arriving in Kentucky he has acted in more community and dinner theater productions than he can remember, but a brief list includes such venerable favorites as The Mousetrap, Sleuth, The Miracle Worker, Heda Gabler, Fiddler on the Roof, Bus Stop and Harvey.

Tony’s acting credits in film include the psychological thriller HOLE CARD (2004), the vintage horror movie spoof DANCING IN MOONLIGHT (2005), the sci-fi actioner THE PARCHENE CONSPIRACY (2006) and, of course, the title character in ZP International’s 2007 release MONSTROSITY.

Armstrong’s work in film goes behind the camera, as well.  Last year he composed and recorded two musical pieces that were used in the soundtrack of THE STRONGER, Digital Video Productions’ film adaptation of the August Strindberg play.  He also does voice-over work and recently provided voices for several historical figures in a Kentucky civil war documentary to air on KET later this year.

In addition to his role in HELL-EPHONE, be sure to catch Tony’s brief but heart-warming performance in the new Goat Boy Films release, SOUL ROBBERS FROM OUTERSPACE!.

As MONSTROSITY
