Michael S. Shouse

Mike Shouse was born and raised in Jackson, KY. After high school Mike attended Morehead State University and received a bachelor's degree in art education. Moving then to Hollywood, he attended G.I.T. (Guitar Institute of Technology). The following year Mike started teaching art in KY and has been teaching for 11 years.

Over the last couple of years Mike has pursued his love for music, recording a CD and forming in a band, and playing in KY. Hearing about a Zombie movie that was being shot in the area, Mike met with George Bonilla to investigate the possibility of his working on the score for the film. Upon seeing him, the producer asked if he would be in the movie. With no real interest in acting, he agreed to take a small role in the production.

Playing that small role, he fell in love with acting and took some acting classes. At the same time, Mike's brother decided to film a movie from one of his own scripts. Mike landed one of the leading roles and also helped produce the movie, “Forever in Black Hills” In 2003 he landed a role in ZP International’s “Redwood Justin: Vampire Hunter”.

Mike returned to ZP International to portray the pirate Jean McClaire Duvar in “The Edison Death Machine”

Mike hopes to move back to Hollywood to try his hand at acting, or to Nashville to work on his music career.
