Talented newcomer Jennifer Reeves is bound and determined to carve out a niche for herself in the Independent film world. Fresh off of a role in the short film, Flip Flop, she has just landed a featured role in ZP International’s Hell-ephone, slated for a fall 2008 release. She also has just finished a feature role in a great film called Bad Girl Venom by Andy Kreps. “I have always loved performing and entertaining people,” explains Jennifer, “I’m in-between jobs right now, so I really felt that the time was right to take my dreams off of the back burner, and jump into a new venture.” “I'm in a position now where I have the freedom and support to pursue my true passion, which is acting. My family is very understanding and supportive of my dreams and goals in life. We are all very close and share a passion for the performing arts” . Raised in the Ashland, KY area, she now resides in Georgetown, KY with her husband, Wayne and two beautiful daughters Rachel, 10, and Rebecca,6. “My family is wonderful,” says Jennifer, “I feel that, with their backing, I can do anything.” Holding a degree in Criminal Justice, Jennifer spent six years as a Police Officer before taking the plunge into the acting world. Jennifer is an avid reader, listing Stephen King among her favorites. She is also intrigued by films that contain a ‘life lesson’ citing Peter Chelsom’s 2001 release, Serendipity, as an excellent example. A wizard in the kitchen, Jennifer is always willing to try cooking something new and fancy. With some hard work, and support, Jennifer is hoping that her next job title will be ‘Movie Star’!
