       David Edward Sowder was born and raised in Mt. Vernon, KY where he began his creative expression at an early age acting as leads in school and church plays continuing on though high school Show Choir and drama.  After high school David attended Eastern Kentucky University and received his degree in Pre- Law. While pursuing his degree David put his performing a side and went to work behind the scenes and started a small Video Production company.  Over the following years David started back performing in a few small parts in theater and local TV spots.

 

            Hearing about a movie company in Richmond, KY David met with George Bonilla to investigate the possibility of his working on the film.  While being a Production Assistant on the movie ”Hell-ephone” David then made his film debut with a small acting part in the same movie playing Detective Banyan. David hopes to pursue his film career whether acting or behind the scenes.
