From an early age Emily knew she enjoyed being in the spotlight. At the tender age of four, she hit the stage and stole the show tap dancing to Alvin and the Chipmunk’s “Achy Breaky Heart”. Emily starting acting on stage in fifth grade at Meece Middle School. Her first play was “Annie Jr.”. From then on Emily continued acting in plays every year and was president of the Drama Club in eighth grade. It was that year that Emily got her first leading role as The Devil in “The Devil and Danielle Webster”.
Some of her award winning roles include Lady Anne in “Richard the III” and Ismene in “Antigone”. Emily also wrote an original scene entitled “Jake and Laurie” for which she took home an award for in 2004. Along with acting, Emily is an assistant director of Shakespeare Summer Youth Drama Camp which is held at Somerset Community College.
Along with being a lifelong horror fan, Emily is also a huge fan of classic and cult movies. Her list of heroes and her greatest acting influences include Rita Hayworth, Vivien Leigh, Grace Kelly, Lauren Bacall, Elvira, the Russ Myer girls, and Fay Wray.
