ZP’s Frank Santoroski to Debut as Director with “The Return”

ZP International’s Marketing and Media Relations Manager, Frank Santoroski, will make his debut as a writer/director with the upcoming film, THE RETURN.

The film, which is currently in production at ZP International Studios in Berea, KY tells the story of Professor George Taylor, a former archaeologist who has become one of the leading Ancient Astronaut Theorists. Taylor is out on the road promoting his latest book when he is abducted by Aliens who proceed to validate some of his theories and shed some interesting light on history and religion.

”THE RETURN has been a pet project of mine for quite some time,” said Santoroski, ”I have always been a strong proponent of Ancient Astronaut Theory, and I feel that I have put together an interesting story for believers and non-believers alike. When we made the decision to co-op the Studio, I felt the time was right to get this film made and take the next logical step in my career in film.”

While the bulk of the film is being shot at ZP International Studios, there is a location shot planned to be shot at THE SCAREFEST in Lexington, KY this coming September. Stay tuned for more details.

Frank Santoroski joined ZP International in 2005 as a web designer, and soon after took on the responsibilities of Media Relations and Marketing. In addition to the work done behind the scenes, Santoroski is also an experienced actor having performed in THE EDISON DEATH MACHINE, MONSTROSITY, HELL-EPHONE, SANTA CLAUS VERSUS THE ZOMBIES, and the soon to be released BUNKER OF BLOOD.

On THE RETURN, Santoroski will once again split his time behind and in front of the camera as he takes on the role of Professor Taylor. The film also stars Tony Armstrong, Schaeffer Tolliver, and Jeffrey Wayne Smith.

Producers on the project include George Bonilla, Todd Burrows, David Sowder and Brian Austin. Gregory W. Brock, Stacey T. Gillespie and Jodh McMaine are cinematographers. Lisa Kirby is lending her talent as make-up artist with Willie Johnson handling audio. John Coffey and David Lemione are also part of the production team.

Look for THE RETURN to be released in Winter 2011.
