FRIGHT NIGHT FILM FEST in Louisville, KY July 22-24
Thursday, June 23rd, 2011ZP International will be guests at this year’s edition of the FRIGHT NIGHT FILM FEST. The show will be held at the Fern Valley Hotel and Convention Center in Louisville KY.
THE FRIGHT NIGHT FILM FEST is joining forces with Fandom Fest to create two great shows in one location. In addition to Guest stars, there will also be numerous films screened throughout the weekend. FRIGHT NIGHT FILM FEST is the largest juried film festival in the Midwest.
The impressive list of guest stars includes John Carpenter, Henry Winkler, Margot Kidder, Bob Wall, Jeremy Bulloch and many many more. Also featured are cast members from REVENGE OF THE NERDS and THE KARATE KID. As always, there will be an impressive array of vendors, artists, and filmmakers with some very unique merchandise for sale.

Special Screeing of BUNKER OF BLOOD on June 25th
Tuesday, June 21st, 2011There will be a special screening of BUNKER OF BLOOD, the latest release from ZP International, at the historic Kentucky Theater in Lexington, KY.
The screening will take place at Saturday night June 25th, 2011 beginning at midnight. Tickets are $5.00 at the door. There will be a separate ticket line for BUNKER OF BLOOD to avoid the line for the Rocky Horror show in the adjacent theater. Look for David Lemoine to be on hand selling tickets.
This is a one-time only chance to see BUNKER OF BLOOD before it goes out to distributors for viewing.
BUNKER OF BLOOD takes place in an underground military bunker following an all out nuclear attack. The President and his advisers are holed up in the bunker with members of the military when bizarre murders begin taking place. With no way in and no way out, the killer must be in the bunker. Everyone is suspect and soldiers begin turning on one another. Has the enemy penetrated the bunker, or is there a more sinister motive going on.
The film is the eleventh feature from Richmond, KY based ZP International Studios. Written and directed by George Bonilla, the film promises action, scares, gore and plot twists that will keep you guessing.

ZP’s Frank Santoroski to Debut as Director with “The Return”
Tuesday, June 14th, 2011ZP International’s Marketing and Media Relations Manager, Frank Santoroski, will make his debut as a writer/director with the upcoming film, THE RETURN.
The film, which is currently in production at ZP International Studios in Berea, KY tells the story of Professor George Taylor, a former archaeologist who has become one of the leading Ancient Astronaut Theorists. Taylor is out on the road promoting his latest book when he is abducted by Aliens who proceed to validate some of his theories and shed some interesting light on history and religion.
”THE RETURN has been a pet project of mine for quite some time,” said Santoroski, ”I have always been a strong proponent of Ancient Astronaut Theory, and I feel that I have put together an interesting story for believers and non-believers alike. When we made the decision to co-op the Studio, I felt the time was right to get this film made and take the next logical step in my career in film.”
While the bulk of the film is being shot at ZP International Studios, there is a location shot planned to be shot at THE SCAREFEST in Lexington, KY this coming September. Stay tuned for more details.
Frank Santoroski joined ZP International in 2005 as a web designer, and soon after took on the responsibilities of Media Relations and Marketing. In addition to the work done behind the scenes, Santoroski is also an experienced actor having performed in THE EDISON DEATH MACHINE, MONSTROSITY, HELL-EPHONE, SANTA CLAUS VERSUS THE ZOMBIES, and the soon to be released BUNKER OF BLOOD.
On THE RETURN, Santoroski will once again split his time behind and in front of the camera as he takes on the role of Professor Taylor. The film also stars Tony Armstrong, Schaeffer Tolliver, and Jeffrey Wayne Smith.
Producers on the project include George Bonilla, Todd Burrows, David Sowder and Brian Austin. Gregory W. Brock, Stacey T. Gillespie and Jodh McMaine are cinematographers. Lisa Kirby is lending her talent as make-up artist with Willie Johnson handling audio. John Coffey and David Lemione are also part of the production team.

Santa Claus Versus the Zombies to be Represented at Cannes Film Market

ZP International’s holiday themed horror-comedy “Santa Claus Versus The Zombies” is currenty being represented at the Cannes Film Market by our sales rep, Broken Glass Pictures.
This is a tremendous opportunity and it comes on the heels of ZP International being represented at the AFI show last year in California.
The Cannes Film Market is held from May 11-May 22 this year and is held in conjunction with the Cannes Film Festival in the South of France. More than 10,000 participants from 91 countries are expected for this year’s edition of the largest film market in the world.
BUNKER OF BLOOD Welcomes Reality TV Stars to Set
Monday, May 9th, 2011ZP International’s latest feature, BUNKER OF BLOOD, welcomed reality television stars David Conley Jr. and Chris Daugherty to the set recently. Conley and Daugherty will appear in the film as soldiers in a climatic fight scene that was choreographed by stunt coordinator Adam G. Fair.
Fans will recognize Chris Daugherty as the winner of “Survivor: Vanuatu - Islands of Fire” which aired on CBS in 2004. David Conley Jr. appeared with his wife, Mary, in “The Amazing Race: Season 10″ on CBS. Because of their popularity with fans, the Conleys were invited to compete again in “The Amazing Race All-Stars” that aired in 2007.
“These guys were great, true professionals,” said writer / director George Bonilla. “They did a great job in the fight scene. It was a long day, but they both gave it their all. We’d be pleased to have them back anytime”
“It was awesome, just awesome,” said Chris Daugherty. “We had a blast, and George has a great crew. Just incredible.”
With this fight scene in the can, principal photography on BUNKER OF BLOOD ia now complete. The film will be the eleventh offering from the independent film company located in the greater Lexington, KY metro area. Look for a summer 2011 release for BUNKER OF BLOOD. With BUNKER OF BLOOD set to wrap, ZP International announces new project.

Principal photography on ZP International’s latest feature, BUNKER OF BLOOD, is set to conclude on May 7th. The film will then move into post-production with a Summer 2011 release date planned.
“This has been a fantastic production,” said writer/director George Bonilla. “We have had more fun on this set than I can ever remember, while at the same time putting together a great picture. I can’t say enough about the cast and crew. They are an extremely talented bunch.”
With BUNKER OF BLOOD set to wrap, Bonilla and the ZP International staff will move directly into a new project, titled SURVIVING THE ZOMBIE PLAGUE.
Bonilla and company will join forces with actor/martial artist David Fultz in this fun mockumentary-style film. done in the style of a cold-war era Government Instructional Film, Bonilla is allowing various ZP staffers to write their own segment for the film.
“This will be a lot of fun,” said Bonilla. “David Fultz brings a lot to the table, and I’m very interested to see some of the ideas that our crew has put together.”
Bonilla and Fultz collaborated recently on the 2010 instructional film, FIGHTING ON FILM: ENTER THE INDEPENDENT. Fultz was also featured in ZP International’s THE EDISON DEATH MACHINE and HELL-EPHONE. Fultz’s other film credits include MY BLOODY WEDDING and MOUNTAIN MAFIA.

BUNKER OF BLOOD Nearing Completion
Friday, April 1st, 2011ZP International’s latest feature film, BUNKER OF BLOOD, is nearing completion. The producers will be ready to begin post-production in late April.

BUNKER OF BLOOD takes place in a post-nuclear war world. The President is holed up in an underground bunker with a carefully selected group of advisers and members of the military waiting out the war and planning to rebulid civilization. However, when bizarre murders begin happening in the bunker, everyone is suspect.
The film will be the eleventh release from the Richmond, KY-based film studio. The stars of the film include Jeffrey Wayne Smith, Russ Croley, Stacey Gillespie, Frank Santoroski, Allison Smith, Scott Johnson, Billy W.
