Daniel Emery Taylor joins HELL-EPHONE cast

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Richmond, KY - June 10, 2008: ZP International Film Productions announced today the addition of Daniel Emery Taylor to the cast of their feature film, Hell-ephone, slated for a fall 2008 release.

Daniel Emery Taylor is best known to comic/sci-fi fans as ‘Darryl Hallenbeck’ in the cult classic monsterfest known as The Return Of Swamp Thing. Taylor went on to gain modest regional fame for his role.

He followed that up with spots on television’s In The Heat Of The Night and the critically acclaimed I’ll Fly Away. He was also a regular on local programming and even did some modeling and print work. More recently, he can be seen in the Tom Green comedy “Road Trip.”

A Birmingham native, Taylor still lives in Central Alabama with his wife and four lovely stepchildren. Always a fan favorite, he has also become a regular on the Comic Book/ Horror/ Sci-Fi Festival circuit.

In Hell-ephone Taylor has been cast as Doctor Roberts, a psychology professor who is a professional colleague of Professor Goldman (a.k.a. The Circuit Maker), the mastermind behind the Hell-ephone prank. Roberts is convinced that Goldman is up to something, and believes that his influence is detrimental to young minds.

“I’m really excited,” said Taylor. “Hell-ephone represents the best of what independent film has to offer: creativity and ingenuity. The fans will get to see something new, something fresh. This isn’t Hollywood leftovers. It’s a whole new dish.”

Hell-ephone is the seventh feature film to come from the Richmond. KY based film studio. George Bonilla is directing the project, which is currently filming. Bonilla is the award-winning director of The Edison Death Machine.

“Daniel Emery Taylor is a wonderful addition to our cast,” said George Bonilla, “we’ve met him at a few shows, and he is not only a great actor, but a heck of a nice guy. He’s very good with the fans, and I can’t wait to get him on the set.”

Alex Del Monacco to star in HELL-EPHONE

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Richmond, KY - June 8, 2008: ZP International Film Productions announced today the addition of the lovely and talented Alex Del Monacco to the cast of their feature film, Hell-ephone, slated for a fall 2008 release.

In Hell-ephone. Del Monacco has been cast as Karen Thomas, a psychologist hired as a profiler by the F.B.I, to help solve the Sea Monster serial killer case.

Hell-ephone is the seventh feature film to come from the Richmond, KY based film studio. George Bonilla is directing the project, which is currently filming. Bonilla is the award-winning director of The Edison Death Machine.

This will be Alex Del Monacco’s first role in a horror film, although George Bonilla is quick to mention that “Classifying Hell-ephone as strictly a ‘horror’ film is selling it a bit short. It’s more of a police drama, and a mystery, neatly packaged inside a horror film.”

“Alex Del Monacco is a true professional, and it was an honor to have her on our set,” said Bonilla. “She endured some very uncomfortable special effects make-up, and still gave her all to the performance. Wait until you see the film, you’ll be amazed.”

Hell-ephone is scheduled to wrap in late Summer, and be released in Fall 2008.

Texas Chainsaw’s John Dugan to appear in HELL-EPHONE

May 16, 2008, Lexington, KY: ZP International Motion Picture Productions announced today that John Dugan, star of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, has joined the cast of their latest feature film, Hell-ephone, slated for a fall 2008 release.

Dugan studied at the prestigious Goodman Theatre in Chicago before being offered the role of Grandpa in the 1974 classic horror film. More recently, Dugan played Sheriff Turner in ZP International’s 2007 release, Monstrosity.

“We are thrilled to be working with John Dugan again,” said director George Bonilla, “He is an absolute professional, and we are looking forward to making a great film together.”

Hell-ephone will be the seventh feature to come out of the powerhouse ZP International Studios, located in Richmond, KY. Previously they brought to the screen Zombie Planet, Dance With a Vampire, Monstrosity, and the award-winning feature The Edison Death Machine.

“Man, am I excited to be working with George Bonilla and crew again,” said John Dugan. “These guys know how to put together a picture that’ll scare the hell out of you.”

Joining Dugan in the cast of Hell-ephone are Ari Lehman, of Friday the 13th, as well as centerfold models, Alex Del Monaco and Melissa Wolf. The film will star Billy W. Blackwell, Kate Stanley, Mike Shouse, Frank Santoroski, Tony Armstrong, and Jason Crowe.

First Jason; Ari Lehman, to star in HELL-EPHONE

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Lexington, KY: May 7, 2008 – ZP International Film Production and Distribution announced today the addition of Ari Lehman to the cast of their latest motion picture, HELL-EPHONE, slated for a fall 2008 release.

Lehman will play the Circuit Maker, the evil mastermind behind the Hell-ephone prank. HELL-EPHONE will be the seventh feature film from the power-house ZP International studios located in Richmond, KY. The film will be written and directed by George Bonilla, the award-winning director of THE EDISON DEATH MACHINE.

“We are delighted to be working with Ari”, said Bonilla. “He’s a true professional and what he will add to this motion picture can hardly be captured in words.”

Ari Lehman, who currently resides in Chicago, IL, first hit the screen in 1978 with MANNY’S ORPHANS, which led to the role of young Jason Voorhees in the original FRIDAY THE 13TH in 1980.

The small film, directed by Sean Cunningham, has become a classic among horror fans that literally set the standard for future slasher films.

A classically trained musician, Lehman left the acting world to pursue a career in music. Having received critical acclaim with the Non-Western pop project, THE ARI BEN MOSES BAND, the talented singer, songwriter, and keyboardist now fronts the Monster-Metal band, FIRSTJASON.

FIRSTJASON was created as a tribute to the scores of devoted horror fans that Ari meets during his busy schedule of horror convention and show appearances.

“I am very honored and excited to be involved with this fine film, “ said Lehman, “”What drew me in to Hell-ephone is ZP International’s truly terrifying and totally original concept. I want dedicated Horror fans everywhere to get ready for this uniquely disturbing film, that shows what happens when an ambitious man goes beyond the conventionally accepted limitations of the afterlife, and seeks to undermine the stranglehold of the social order.”

Lehman joins Billy W. Blackwell, Leslie Rogers, Frank Santoroski, and Jason Crowe in the cast of HELL-EPHONE. The executive producers are Tammy Bonilla, Russell Coy, Todd Burrows, and Douglas Campbell. HELL-EPHONE is scheduled to begin shooting in April 2008.
