Con-nooga 2009 Wrap-up
Monday, February 23rd, 2009February 22, 2009: Chattanooga, TN: Having just returned from Con-Nooga 2009, ZP International would like to thank the event organizers and convention center staff for putting on a great event.
ZP International screened it’s latest feature, ‘Hell-ephone’ for the first time to a test audience, and received some very positive feedback.
“I really enjoyed the film,” said Videoscope Magazine’s Rob Freese, “You guys just keep getting better and better .”
Appearing at the convention for ZP International were, ZP founder George Bonilla, Executive producers Tammy Bonilla and Todd Burrows, and Marketing Manager Frank Santoroski.
Daniel Emery Taylor and John Dugan, who both appear in ‘Hell-ephone,’ were also on hand to help promote the film.
The convention itself consisted of a mix of activies and personalities from the worlds of Film, Sci-Fi, Gaming, Anime, Horror, and Martial Arts. Spread out over several buildings at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo Convention Center, there was seemingly something for everyone. The crowd featured a mix of Stormtroopers, Klingons, Superheroes, Jedi Knights, Anime characters and a host of other robots, aliens, monsters, pirates, and a few things that we aren’t sure what to call them!!
Bonilla and company put on a filmmaking seminar, and held a Q and A panel prior to showing ‘Hell-ephone.’ Both were attended by audiences asking insightful questions.
All-in-all it was an enjoyable show, thanks again to Con-nooga 2009!!
