‘The Edison Death Machine’ available On Demand in Select Markets

ZP International’s award-winning film, ‘The Edison Death Machine’ is now available for On Demand purchase in various select Cable TV markets.

‘The Edison Death Machine’ was honored as ‘Best Science Fiction Feature’ at ICFLM in 2007, and picked up an award for ‘Best Special Effects’ at Fright Night 2006. The film stars Stacey T. Gillespie, Ashley Arkels, Billy W. Blackwell, Cherokee Hall, Frank Santoroski and Jermaine Greene.

“This film holds a special place in my heart,” said writer/director George Bonilla. “There was a tremendous amount of work that went into this film, and it shows through in the finished product. I am excited that the blooming On Demand market gives us yet another avenue to bring our films to the public.”

Alex Del Monacco to Star in “Santa Claus Versus the Zombies”

ZP International Film Productions announced the addition of the lovely and talented Alex Del Monacco to the cast of their feature film, Santa Claus Versus the Zombies, slated for a fall 2010 release.

In her modeling career, Alex Del Monacco has posed for literally hundreds of fitness magazines, swimsuit layouts, and fashion covers.

Del Monacco has previously worked with ZP International in the 2009 film, Hell-ephone.

“As always, Alex has been a true professional on the set, and we are thrilled at the opportunity to work with her again”, said writer/director George Bonilla.

Santa Claus Versus the Zombies” tells the story of a suburban family that finds themselves barricaded in their house following the outbreak of the Zombie plague. Along for the ride are a couple of elves and an actor that just might be the real Santa Claus. In the meantime, the President and his military advisers are holed up in a bunker feverishly trying to hatch a plan to rescue Santa and the desperate family. This action packed adventure is for the whole family!

Alex Del Monacco will portray Jennifer, the housewife and mother of two, in the film.

The film also stars Billy W. Blackwell, Claude D. Miles, Cassidy Rae Owens, Reaper M. Jones, Tony Armstrong and Kayla Perkins. Executive producers on the project are Tammy Bonilla, Todd Burrows, David Sowder and Russell Coy.

“Santa Claus Versus the Zombies” Production In Full Swing

ZP International has been hard at work on their latest feature “Santa Claus Versus the Zombies.” More than fifty percent of the film is now in the can. The production moves from the intricate Military Bunker set to the interior home shots.

“I’ve been very happy with the way things are going” said writer/director George Bonilla. “The cast and crew have been great, and getting better every shooting day. We’ve got a great picture here on our hands.”

Bonilla Honored as “Kentucky Filmmaker of the Decade”

March 7, 2010: Pikeville, KY- At a gala awards ceremony at the DARK WOODS CON held this past weekend, George Bonilla, CEO of ZP International Motion Pictured, was presented with the award for ‘Kentucky Filmmaker of the Decade 2000- 2010.’

“Time sure flies,” said Bonilla “it really doesn’t seem like it’s been ten years we started production on ZOMBIE PLANET and folks told us we wouldn’t be able to pull it off. But, here we are in 2010 working on our tenth feature”

“I’m truly honored”, Bonilla continued, “It takes a lot of talented people to make a film, and a tremendous amount of effort and tenacity to deal with the setbacks along the way. This award belongs to each and every person that has worked with ZP International over the years. Believe me, no one can do this alone, and I owe a great deal of gratitude to all those that have been involved with our projects. “

The award was presented to Bonilla by Lexington, KY based actor Billy W. Blackwell. Blackwell has appeared in all of ZP International films in featured or starring roles.

Bonilla was previously honored with the award for “Kentucky Filmmaker of the Year 2008” at the Fright Night Film Festival. ZP International Motion Pictures, located in the greater Lexington, KY metro area, has produced the films, HELL-EPHONE, THE KANE CHRONICLES, MONSTROSITY, DANCE WITH A VAMPIRE, ZOMBIE PLANET , ZOMBIE PLANET II:ADAM’S REVENGE, as well as the award winning short fan film INDIANA JONES AND THE MUMMY’S SKULL and the award-winning feature THE EDISON DEATH MACHINE.

ZP International has two projects currently in production now, SANTA CLAUS VERSUS THE ZOMBIES and BUNKER OF BLOOD, both slated for late 2010 release.
