Con-nooga 2009 Wrap-up

Monday, February 23rd, 2009

February 22, 2009: Chattanooga, TN: Having just returned from Con-Nooga 2009, ZP International would like to thank the event organizers and convention center staff for putting on a great event.

ZP International screened it’s latest feature, ‘Hell-ephone’ for the first time to a test audience, and received some very positive feedback.

“I really enjoyed the film,” said Videoscope Magazine’s Rob Freese, “You guys just keep getting better and better .”

Appearing at the convention for ZP International were, ZP founder George Bonilla, Executive producers Tammy Bonilla and Todd Burrows, and Marketing Manager Frank Santoroski.

Daniel Emery Taylor and John Dugan, who both appear in ‘Hell-ephone,’ were also on hand to help promote the film.

The convention itself consisted of a mix of activies and personalities from the worlds of Film, Sci-Fi, Gaming, Anime, Horror, and Martial Arts. Spread out over several buildings at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo Convention Center, there was seemingly something for everyone. The crowd featured a mix of Stormtroopers, Klingons, Superheroes, Jedi Knights, Anime characters and a host of other robots, aliens, monsters, pirates, and a few things that we aren’t sure what to call them!!

Bonilla and company put on a filmmaking seminar, and held a Q and A panel prior to showing ‘Hell-ephone.’ Both were attended by audiences asking insightful questions.

All-in-all it was an enjoyable show, thanks again to Con-nooga 2009!!

ZP International is proud to be associated with the World Independent Film Expo coming to Richmond, KY May 15-17, 2009

ABOUT W.I.F.E. 2009

WHAT WE ARE:

We are a gathering of Filmmakers, Film Fans, Producers, Directors, Technicians, Artists, and anyone
who has a love of motion pictures! We welcome all submissions to our festival. All genres are welcome.
Big budget to no budget! We want you to show your work and meet other artists who want to meet you!

ARE YOU A FILM FESTIVAL?

Yes. But we are more than that. We have always noticed that most film festival quickly become about the
films and not the Filmmakers. We are BOTH! Come and show your work. If you are not selected (there
are very few spots) then come anyway! You will meet people who you will benefit from greatly! You will
meet artists and learn things about the business you may not know. Or you may be able to teach others
things you have learned. Either way, this show is about YOU!

WHAT FORMATS DO YOU ACCEPT?

Please limit submissions to DVD or MINI DVD TAPE. We would also recommend you make
your NTSC DVDs on DVD-R if you are burning them. Please be sure to test your DVD and be sure it
plays all the way through. If you have a glass mastered copy we would prefer that. Looking to have your
DVD glass mastered? We recommend DISC MAKERS. Best price and best quality. Foreign language
films must be dubbed or sub-titled in English. DO NOT SEND YOUR MASTER. Copies only and copies
will be returned at the day of the showing if you wish. If you wish them mailed back please send a SASE
with the submission. Cost of shipping is the responsibility of the entrant. Exhibition copies must be sent
postage pre-paid. The Expo can not accept responsibility of lost or damaged entries.

DO YOU ACCEPT FEATURES OR SHORTS?

We accept both! Please be sure to see our temporary schedule. It always bothers us when a festival
waits until the last minute to post schedules! You can see how many slots we have available. We have
blocks set out for FEATURES and SHORTS! The schedule will be constantly changing. But, those
changes will be made as soon as they are known.

WHAT GENRES DO YOU ACCEPT?

ALL genres are welcome.

WHAT DOES IT COST?
CHEAP! If you are a Filmmaker a feature will cost you $20 for a feature and $15 for a short (30 minutes
and under) to submit now through MARCH 15th. Do not wait that submission price will go up to $25 for a
feature and $20 for a short on MARCH 1
5

. DEADLINE IS APRIL 2ND. No exceptions. We know it is not
much time but we want you to know when your movie is playing! We hope to have the schedule up a
month in advance. Remember, even if you are not selected you want to be at this event. This is an
event for anyone interested in movies. Either a fan or a Movie Maker!
