WORLD INDEPENDENT FILM EXPO TO HAVE A FULL SCHEDULE THIS YEAR!

Dateline, Richmond, KY.

The WORLD INDEPENDENT FILM EXPO returns to Richmond Kentucky for it’s second year. The first year showed much larger than expected crowds. This year promises to not disappoint its fans. “We will have some great movies and some really wonderful guests” said George Bonilla one of the co-founders. He, along with Anthony Hudson started the festival last year. It is also called the WIFE EXPO after it’s call letters. “WIFE was much bigger last year than we had hoped it would be” said Anthony Hudson “So large that we have moved to a bigger venue”. This year the show is to take place in the RICHMOND CENTER MALL. 50, 000 square feet of floor space. GILLIUMS SPORTS BAR and complex will play host to the seminars and viewing areas. A VIP only lounge has been set aside for the event. Guests this year include DAVID and MARY CONLEY from CBS’s THE AMAZING RACE. Winner CHRIS DOHERTY from the show SURVIVOR. Wrestling legend AL SNOW. Model and actress ALEX DEL MONACCO and many, many more. The event is also a networking and educational venue for filmmakers and fans alike. It features several seminars including “STUNT FIGHTING 101” hosted by BLACK BELT HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE DAVID FULTZ! “HOW TO DIRECT hosted by THOMAS PHILLIPS. MAKE YOUR MOVIE NOW Hosted by GEORGE BONILLA. HOW TO GET ON A REALITY SHOW hosted by the CONLEY’S and CHRIS DOHERTY. ACTING ON FILM hosted by STACEY GILLESPIE and featuring a who’s how of local and regional actors. More are being added daily.

But, one of the biggest draws is sure to be the OPEN AUDITIONS being held for the shows BIG BROTHER, THE AMAZING RACE and SURVIVOR. These taped auditions are for everyone and are free. Auditions will be taped by the Legendary DAVID RUPP and crew from INFERNAL DREAM! The tapes will then be handed over to the CONLEYS who will be delivering the tapes directly to the casting agent for all three shows. “You have a much better chance at being seen on these tapes than going to a hundred “cattle calls” Said Mr. Bonilla. “These tapes are to be placed directly into the hands of the lady who actually books the people on the shows” Said Mr. Hudson.

The event takes place on May 14th-16th. The auditions will be held on Sat the 15th 9-5.

Bonilla and Fultz Collaborate on “Fighting on Film” Instructional DVD

ZP International Motion Pictures CEO George Bonilla and Black Belt Hall-of-Famer David Fultz have collaborated on an instructional DVD titled ‘FIGHTING ON FILM: ENTER THE INDEPENDENT.’

The DVD was produced as an avenue for Bonilla and Fultz to share their knowledge and skills in the film business with up and coming film makers.

This unique production explores all the how-to’s of staging a realistic stunt fight while maintaining the safety of the cast and crew. Bonilla offers the perspective of the Film Director while Fultz adds insight from the Stunt Man’s point of view.

Shot on the set of current project, “SANTA CLAUS VERSUS THE ZOMBIES” this instructional DVD continues to show the forward growth of ZP International as a Production Company. If successful, “FIGHTING ON FILM” may lead to a series of How-To DVD’s from the Richmond, KY based film company.

“It’s exciting,” said George Bonilla, “With ‘SANTA CLAUS VERSUS THE ZOMBIES’ we are producing our first family-friendly film, and we have now produced our first documentary. 2010 thus-far has been a year of pushing forward in different directions.”

FIGHTING ON FILM: ENTER THE INDEPENDENT stars fight-trainer Adam G. Fair and actors/stunt-men Stacey T. Gillespie, Casey Miracle, Justin Ward and Josh McMaine. David Fultz and George Bonilla are hosts of the film. The DVD is expected to go on sale in May 2010.

WIFE Expo Announces First Round of Selecions

The 2010 World Independent Film Expo has announced the first round of official selections to be shown at the 2010 show. The Second Round of Selections will be announced on April 20th and the Third and Final round on April 25th.

2nd Annual World Independent Film Expo coming to Richmond May 14-16, 2010

The World Independent Film Expo is a film festival, networking event, and celebration of all independent media. Founded in 2008 by filmmaker George Bonilla and Magazine Publisher Anthony Hudson, the World Independent Film Expo is quickly becoming the “Have to be at” festival in the Midwest region. The second annual show will be held May 14th, 15th, and 16th 2010 in Richmond, Kentucky.
The World Independent Film Expo (W.I.F.E) are a gathering of Filmmakers, Film Fans, Producers, Directors, Technicians, Artists, and anyone who has a love of motion pictures! We welcome all submissions to our festival. All genres are welcome. Big budget to no budget! We want you to show your work and meet other artists who want to meet you!
In addition to the films and art WIFE will also feature a number of seminars with topics such as stuntfighting special effects make-up, making your film on a budget, breaking into reality TV, and how to make your movie NOW.
“The 2010 Expo will be held at the Old Richmond Mall in Richmond KY. This venue will provide us with over 20,000 feet of Vendor space, private theaters, a VIP Lounge complete with full bar, seminar rooms, and plenty of extra space for all of the special events that we have planned.” said Promoter Anthony Hudson

Feathered Italian Films Looking to Break Zombie World Record

Feathered Italian Films, good friends of ZP International, made this announcement:

“Feathered Italian Films” will be filming their next film “THE ZOMBIE MOVIE” and we need your help!

During filming of “The Zombie Movie” we want to break the WORLD RECORD for “Most ZOMBIES in One Place”! The current record is a little over 4,000 zombies. I think LOUISVILLE can shatter that record! So we all have a chance of not only being in a huge movie but also be a part of history and in the “Guinness World Book of Records”!

Jason Crowe, one of the members of F.I.F., starred in Louisville’s zombie film “Dead Moon Rising” which had a total of 1200 people show up for the filming of its last scene. We at F.I.F. want to bring that vibe back to Louisville and put our city on the map and in the record books!

The zombies in “THE ZOMBIE MOVIE” are the classic ROMERO style, as we want to pay tribute to the man who made the genre what it is today. We will have special guest stars (perhaps some well known “zombies” and zombie slayers) along with bands, contests, vendors, prizes and more!

We are in negotiations with FOURTH STREET LIVE at the moment but the location has not yet been confirmed. So the location and date MAY change but the film shoot and the goal WILL HAPPEN.

This event will be FREE to attend. However we will be accepting donations which will be donated to several charities (including Breast Cancer Research, Pitbull Rescue and more.)

We want you to attend dressed as a zombie. We will have a costume contest with some great prizes.Dont worry if you cant make yourself a zombie we will have Make-Up artists on hand to make you a zombie!
